Which Orthotic should I order?

Heel Pain (Plantae Fasciitis)

When there is pain in the heel, it usually caused by strain on the ligament of the arch. Any of he rigid arches will help this problem. If you are an active we recommend a heel post, this makes the Orthotic more stable in the shoe. Both a 3/4 length or full length will work well with this problem.

Flat Feet (Pronation)

Pronation is when the arch of the foot flattens out. It is typical for the shoe to break down on the inside. Any of he rigid arches will help this problem. If you are an active we recommend a heel post, this makes the Orthotic more stable in the shoe. Both a 3/4 length or full length will work well with this problem.

Rolling to the outside (Supination)

With Supination you roll to the outside of your feet. This is usually associated with a high arch foot. The supination orthotic has a wedge along the outside edge. This helps reduce the rolling outward.

Pain in the ball of the foot (Metatarsalgia)

Pain in the ball of the foot can come from several reasons. The two most common are bearing to much pressure on the bones that form the ball of the foot. The other one is when you get a pinched nerve between these bones. This usually causes pain in the are between the the 3rd and 4th toes. Both of these problems will be improved by the addition of a metatarsal raise t the orthotic. This is a soft tear drop shaped pad that is built into the orthotic. It is just behind the metatarsal heads. For this to be placed in the proper position a full length or a sulcus length must be ordered.

Diabetic Foot

The quad layer orthotic is a soft flexible orthotic with decreased sensation from developing ulcers. Diabetes is the most common reason for this problem. It does not give aw much support as our other orthotics.
