A full length Orthotic runs from the back of the heel to the end of the toes.  The rigid portion runs from the heel to the ball of the foot. There is a top cover, which is a 1/8 inch thick EVA that is covered with a synthetic leather.  This runs from heel to toe.   Often the liner of the shoe will need to be removed.
